Description: Of "sugar loaf" form cut with fluted, beaded and paneled bands and borders, engraved with a bow-tied Masonic device. Height 10 3/4 inches. Together with a decanter cut in a similar pattern and a decanter engraved with a bottle tag enclosing "BRANDY." Height of Masonic decanter 10 3/4 inches.Literature: A decanter identical to the first, except for the stopper, is discussed and illustrated in Arlene Palmer, "Glass in Early America," pp. 132-133, n. 88.
