Description: BRASS SINGLE-ARM KEROSENE STUDENT LAMP, eight-flute font holder with an acorn-form font tank with a brass finial, hexagonal weighted base. Fitted with an Edward Miller burner, 10" shade ring, period slip chimney. Topped with a pale blue melon-form umbrella shade. Electrified. Possibly E. Miller & Co.

Condition Report: Excellent condition overall with a minute opening near the top of the font tank, minute opening near the air-intake. Scattered flaking to the fitter of the shade.

Provenance: Property of Bill and Karen Webb.

Dimensions: 19 1/4" HOA, 12 1/4" H to the top of the socket, 7" DOA base.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th century.
