Description: Breton Henri-Montan. Opera Oui de Montano et Stephanie. 1800 ca. Manoscritto cartaceo in-4° (mm 222x180). Carte [124]. Paper manuscript. 4° (222x180 mm). [124] leaves. Text by a nineteenth-century hand in italic type and in brown ink, with triple fillets, in brown ink. Light foxing. Contemporary red morocco, frame on the covers, on the middle on the front cover monogram 'ML', smooth spine with compartments defined by double gilt fillets and decorated tools. Interesting manuscript collection of a selection of work belonged to famous french works - edited and printed between the end of the 167th century and the beginning of the 18th century - among which are the Montano et Stephanie e Alina, regine de Golconde di Henri-Montan Breton, printed for the first time in 1799 and in 1803. The manuscript includes the verses from the Le petit Pasteur set to music by Jean-Baptiste Lélu and poems surveyed in the bibliographies of French folk songs, as Au bord d'un fertile coteau (La Forte, Catalogue de la chanson folklorique Française, 1983, p. 29).
