Description: Artist: ANDY WARHOL (1930-1987) Size: 26 x 30 1/8 in./66 x 76.7 cm A natural progression of Duchamp's Readymades and Jasper John's sculptures of common objects, Warhol's Brillo Boxes have become icons of the Pop Art movement of the 1960s. This silkscreen poster d'après Warhol announces an exhibition of the artist's work at the Pasadena Art Museum a mere five years after he first created those signature boxes. (pop)
