BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER WITH ARABIC INSCRIPTION
QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
of compressed globular form raised on three conical feet, decorated with three cartouches containing Islamic inscriptions, the base with an apocryphal Xuande mark, the bronze with a warm reddish-brown patina
9.4cm high, 15cm diam
- good overall apprearance and patina.
-some old marks in places consistence with age and use
-rubbing/ golden hightlights on the tips of the three feet with oxidisation to the interior of the censer
