This Buick Wildcat convertible is partly restored and has some new parts like an automatic folding rooftop in black and white with white seams, as well as a new interior in the same color combination. The body was repainted, it also got fresh lubricants and sealings. An air condition was built in, however, it is currently not connected. The underbody was conserved. In order to pass the general inspection and to obtain the H-license plate for historic vehicles, it is recommended to have the car checked and renewed where necessary. Electrics has to adjusted to German standards.
In 1962 the upper middle class car Buick Wildcat was initially produced as the sub-series Invicta. A year later series production of the Wildcat as an independent model began. At first the car was made as a hard-top coupé; hard-top sedan, station wagon and convertible versions followed. In 1970 the Wildcat was replaced by the Buick Centurion. (ala)
