Between 1900 and 1936, Carter the Great' made eight world tours in addition to appearances in his native country...[He] died of a heart attack of February 13, 1936, in Bombay, India, while on his eighth world tour (Magic Posters, p. 11). This poster was part of a series used on that final tour, asking the question of the viewer "do the dead materialize?" This is a four-sheet billboard. (magic)
