Description: This is a miniature cast iron cauldron pot with wire bail handle from New England circa 1700s. The miniature cast iron cauldron is the perfect size with the raised three pointed feet. The miniature cast iron cauldron would have been used in the early open hearth and the three raised feet would have kept the cauldron above the hot coals. The miniature cast iron cauldron has beautiful gate mark that date the cauldron between 1750 to the early 1800s.
Condition Report: Excellent condition with age appropriate patina.
Dimensions: 6 inches wide, 5 inches high not including the handle, and 18 inches round in circumference.
