Description: CAST SPELTER ROOSTER FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, two-part construction base, upper half with tail and head lifts off and is fitted with a colorless glass font, lower half comprising of lower body with tail feathers and feet, perched on a circular base, ball-form cased pale blue and rose swirling stripe shade, polychrome floral and gilt decoration, period No. 1 collar. Fitted with a single-tube burner, colorless chimney.
Dimensions: 8 5/8" H to top of shade, 4 3/8" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" D foot.
Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
Condition Report: Rooster and font undamaged, shade fitter with manufacturing imperfections including losses to interior opal casing and expected flakes/roughness, some minor wear to decoration, collar with a light dent. Burner with some denting and a light split, chimney undamaged.
