Description: One of the most iconic banknotes available and often referred to as the "Earliest Collectible Paper Money." We have handled several of these impressive large format notes and this offering is certainly well above the average in terms of condition. The body is quite thick and the impression bold, especially at center. Still bold vermilion overprints and with just a few small edge tears which do not distract from the overall appeal.
Condition Report: Extremely Fine
Provenance: From the J.P George collection
