Description: 4 May 1921 LONDON. Share Warrant for 2 Shares of £1. brown, black. No 2254. Folds and a few pin-holes. Showing a miner with a Chinese background of junk and pagoda. Text in English and French. The company was formed to acquire the business of a Chinese company formed in 1878. The main assets were 3 mines in the Kaiping coalfield, near Peking, a shipping line with 6 ships, docks in various Chinese ports, and the harbour of Chinwangtao, also near Peking.
