Description: Civil War Confederate Regiment jacket, Company 1, Sixth Regiment North Carolina State Troops, with 4" medallion "The Confederate States of American - Deo Vindice" (Vengeful God) and cast pewter belt buckle, 6th Inf. N.C. S.t. The Regiment jacket is hand stitched with wood buttons, blue black cloth collar and cuffs, lined, Regiment was originally organized in Jan - 1861, founded by Richard Watts York. The Cedar Fork rifles (also known as the North Carolina Greys) were mustered into Confederate Service May 1861. CONDITION: Wear to jacket from age and use. Jacket has some holes, medallion and buckle have some wear from age.
