Description: Clocks- 2 (Two) Cuckoo Black Forest German 30 hour: hanging weight driven model nearly identical to rare Biedermeier #4 shown on Justin Miller book page 36, likely by Ketterer, c1860; shelf model spring driven by Gordian Hettich Sohn (GHS), c, 1900

Condition Report: the Biedermeier case is in very nice condition with an old finish. The painted metal dial is nice ,with minor discoloration; the minute hand has been repaired. The bellows and whistles are newer. there are no weights or pendulum. The bird has paint loss. The Hettich may have had a top crest, and its finish is dark, crusty and scratched. Its bone hands and numbers are old; the bellows and whistles are old and worn; the bird has been poorly restored; the pendulum and gong coil are absent. Both movements appear complete but not tested, and clocks are sold as is with no further details available. Hts 17 in and 16 in
