Description: Clocks- 4 (Four): (1) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Wales" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and half hour strike movement in a golden oak case, c1904.. (2) Seth Thomas Clock Co., "Richmond V.P." shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike lyre movement in a rosewood veneered case, c1890. (3) F. Kroeber, New York, "Wasp" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike movement in a walnut case, c1884. (4) Welch, Spring and Co. "Italian No. 2 V.P." shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike movement in a rosewood veneered case, c1880.

Condition Report: (1) The case retains its original finish with some deterioration on the right base return. The porcelain dial has minor chipping at the winding holes. The movement is signed. Ht.10.75in. (2) The case has its original finish. The paper dial is original. The hands are later replacements.Ht. 18.25". (3) The case finish has been stripped. The original paper dial has darkened with age. The hands are original. The fancy pendulum bob is excellent. The stenciled door glass is original but slightly faded. Ht. 18in. (4) The case retains a nice original finish. The paper dial has aged yellow over time. The hands are original. The door glass is original. The pendulum bob may be a replacement. Ht. 17in.
