Description: Clocks- 5 (Five): (1) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike spring brass movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1875 (2) Chauncey Boardmand, Bristol, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike spring brass fusee- spring movement round gothic or beehive shelf clock, c1850 (3) Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn., 8 day, spring brass lever movement shelf clock with ripple molding, c1850 (4) Unknown, 8 day, time and strike spring brass movement dwarf 4- column shelf clock, c1845. (5) Waterbury Clock Co, Waterbury, Conn., 30 hour, spring brass movement cottage timepiece, c1870

Condition Report: (1) Mahogany veneered case in old finish. Dial is now a piece of card stock. Period hands are mismatched. Original tablet. Ht 15" (2) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some loss on the base and a repair on the top front. Dial has been repainted. Tablet is missing. Hands are not original. Partial label inside the case. Ht 19" (3) Rosewood veneered case has remains of an old finish. Left side base piece is missing and a piece of ripple molding is missing on the right side. An extra piece of molding is included, but does not match. Original painted dial is soiled with some loss at the mounting screws. Original hands. Movement is signed. Ht 10.75" (4) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish in nice condition. Paper dial signed "New Haven" is not original. Modern hands. Nice tablet is not original. Ht 19" (5) Rosewood veneered case has a couple chips on the base. Dial has been repainted. Nice hands are not original. Original tablet has some loss. Ht 11.25"
