Description: Fine Chinese cloisonne enamel and gilt bronze covered tripod censer cast with a bulbous body, with short straight cylindrical neck, to the wide opening with banded rim. The massive censer raised on tree cabriole legs, gilt banded on outer lips and collar. Having two gilt bronze cast of S-shaped hand extended from the body flanked to the lips, give the wider outreach appearance. The main body decorated with centralized uptala, the night lotus flower, interspersed by colorful scrolling tendrils foliage against turquoise-blue ground. The domed lid pierced with scrolling floral foliate motif supported a floral bud jade finial.
Condition Report: Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in excellent condition.
