Description: Artist: JULES-ALEXANDRE GRÜN (1868-1938) Size: 29 5/8 x 47 1/4 in./75.2 x 120 cm Atelier Grün, Paris Not to be confused with the well-known periodical of the same name, this Cocorico was a three-act operetta by Louis Ganne, conductor at the Cabaret des Incohérents. Never straying from his signature palette, Grün created this rare design for Ganne, presenting a crowing rooster against a star-filled sky.
