Description: Rhode Island Currency
Rare November 6, 1775 Rhode Island Three Shillings Note
Colony of Rhode Island. November 6, 1775. Three Shillings. Uniface Printed. Fine.
Fr. RI-212. An attractive example of this Revolutionary War period rarity. The sole example certified by PMG is graded VG-6. This current note has a well centered and whole and solid appearance. There is a deft sealed split to the centerfold and some conservation to the outer edges. The signatures of Dexter and Wanton are written in red and brown. This note has overall even tone and circulation with some detail of Very Fine. A exceedingly rare low Three Shillings denomination, lacking from most all Colonial Currency and Rhode Island paper money collections.
