Description: COX AND DAY "SEARCH LIGHT" FLORAL AND SCROLL KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP, open-work font holder with a scroll motif leading to a cast-metal connector, two-section marble stem with an amber tone, cast-metal foot with a floral and scroll design. Fitted with a complete brass drop-in font with a domed base, flame spreader signed "COX & DAY/NEW YORK/SEARCH LIGHT". Topped by a period floral decorated and shaded ball-form shade, period slip chimney.
Condition Report: Excellent condition overall with a chip to the marble on the stem, possibly as made, shade virtually undamaged with typical minute roughness to the fitter, chimney with minor flaking/roughness to the fitter.

Dimensions: 28 3/4" HOA, 21" H to top of flame spreader, 6 3/4" SQ base. 9 1/4" H shade.

Once a package is ready to ship it is weighed, measured and processed through the USPS and/or UPS system in order to determine cost of shipping including insurance and additional services (e.g. delivery confirmation) as applicable.
Shipping charges include a fee for packing time and materials. Our time is billed at $15.00 per hour (prorated) and we use recycled materials whenever possible at no cost to the buyer. If purchased supplies (e.g. boxes) are used, that cost is passed on to the buyer as part of the packing fee.
The actual cost of shipping/insurance and packing/materials cannot be determined until packing is completed. Once known, the shipping charges are applied to the buyer's invoice and he/she is notified of the cost by email (or by phone if we have no email).
