The Minneswaska and her sister ship Minnetonka had brief lives of just over ten years each, having been built in 1923 and scrapped by 1934. Originally they sailed for the Atlantic Line but were sold to the Red Star Line in 1931. It is unusual that such an exceptional and rare Art Deco image is not attributed to any artist.
