Description: The globular body rising to a short neck, painted in bright doucai enamels with camellia and red blooms growing from blue enameled ornamental rockwork, the flat circular cover decorated with ruyi head sprays to the top, the base inscribed with a single Chinese character'tian', 3.3 inches high. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Piccus, Hampton, Va. Acquired from Spink, London in 1978 with original receipt
