Description: The Jade brush washer or water container is in shape of overlapping Lozenges or rhombuses in the pattern known as fangshengwen. Three figures carved on both sides, one holding a vaporous censer, and other with ruyi scepter. On the crossed side with projecting phoenix spreading both wings suspending a loose ring. The exterior carved with fine geometrical pattern diaper. The jade shows pale-grayish color with attractive sporadic golden russet inclusions, and moist milky appearance.
