Description: Artist: ADRIEN BARRÈRE (1877-1931) Size: 38 1/4 x 54 1/8 in./97.2 x 137.5 cm Imp. G. Batille, Paris Armand Ménard, an apprentice jeweler, anagrammed his last name and reinvented himself as Dranem, a performer of the comedic absurd. His bumbling, sad-faced character sang and danced his way through all the best cabarets and café-concerts in Paris for more than 20 years. This is the before-letters, large format version for his performance at the Eldorado.
