Description: E. N. Welch, Forestville, Conn., "Oriental Gothic 4 Column" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time & strike brass movement in a ripple front rosewood case with mahogany columns.

Condition Report: The case has been refinished. There is damage to the top ridge of the case. The original dial pan now has a new paper dial. The dial mounting board is cracked and needs to be reglued. The hands, while showing age, are not the proper style for this clock. The upper door glass is original while the lower door glass has a good copy of a William B. Fenn tablet. The movement is signed.
