Condition / Notes: This is a scarce first edition of this work. This antique volume is bound in green cloth covered with stamped black illustrations as well as stamped gilt lettering and ornamentation on the spine and front cover. There is mild external wear to the extremities of the exterior, and a small ding to the spine cover. The hinges are cracked.

The text block is adorned with patterned endpapers. There is a frontispiece map of Hwui Shan's route. The pages are clean and bright. This work contains numerous illustrations.
