Description: Emotive group of three First World War Death Plaques named to three brothers, George William Bitten, Walter Charles Bitten and Daniel Bitten. Walter Charles Bitten 72764 born Newmarket, Suffolk, joined the Royal Horse Artillery, he died 25th June 1916 Mesopotamia Asiatic Theatres. Daniel Bitten born in Cowling Suffolk, 27457 enlisted with the Princess Charlotte of Wales 2nd Battlion, killed in action 28th October 1916 France and Flanders, George William Bitten born in Cowlinge, Suffolk and joined the Worcestershire Regiment 4th Battalion, he died of wounds on the 24th June 1918, (3)
