Description: Ephemera relating to the grand slam winning English tennis player Betty Nuthall, including an autographed postcard signed "with love", a rare photograph of Betty Nuthall playing at the Surrey Junior championship aged 13 in 1924, and a third photograph portraying Betty Nuthall shaking hands with an engine driver at Waterloo Station as she commenced her journey to Forest Hills for a Wightman Cup tie v USA in July 1927; sold with other ephemera including programmes, press cuttings etc. Provenance; Ex-Percy Rootham (Vice President of the LTA) Collection.
