Description: Artist: ALPHONSE-ETIENNE DINET (1861-1929) Size: 32 3/4 x 95 5/8 in./83.3 x 243 cm Imp. de Vaugirard, Paris Best known for his elaborate Orientalist paintings, Dinet was an accomplished artist who felt such kinship to his subjects that he officially converted to Islam and moved to Algeria around 1910.
