Description: A FINELY PAINTED TRIPTYCH AND AN ICON SHOWING FOUR SELECTED SAINTS Russian, Nevyansk, 2nd half 18th century / Russian, late 19th century Tempera on wood panels. Finely executed on a gold ground. The central panel showing the Resurrection and the Descent into Hell, die wings showing St. Makari and Moses. On the exterior inscribed 'Filatiy Sidorov'. Minimal losses, vertical crack. 20.5 x 27 cm (extended). The icon showing four selected saints is cut and laid down on board. 42.2 x 34.8 cm. FEINES TRIPTYCHON UND PATRONATSIKONE
