The second part of the volume contains the "journal" by Paccard, the one of the baron von Gersdorf and parts of the one by de Saussure; follows some letters by Bourrit, Paccard and Saussure, the list of attempts (until 1786) and of the ascents (until 1855) and one bibliography.
