Ephemera includes: a bound folio of commemorative anecdotes on George Washington, including: The Literary and Biographical Magazine and British Review for July 1792 and Eloge Funebre de Washington, par Louis Fontanes, Paris; Washington's Farewell Address to the People of The United States published for the Washington Benevolent Society, Balance Press, Albany, 1810; a paperback copy of Washingtons Farewell Address and the Constitution of the United States, Exeter, 1813; Religion and Patriotism, The Constituents of a Good Soldier. A Sermon Preached to Captain Overton's Independant Company of Volunteers, raised in Hanover County, Virginia, August, 17, 1755 by Samuel Davies, Philadelphia and London, 1756; and three copies of The Last Will and Testament of General George Washington, London, 1800, Alexandria, 1800, and Boston, 1800.

Other Notes: In the book of Captain Overton's sermon, there is an asterisked note on page 12, reading: *As a remarkable Instance of this, I may point out to the Public that heroic Youth Col. Washington, whom I cannot but hope Providence has hitherto preserved in so signal a Manner, for some important Service to his Country.

All property must be paid for and removed from our premises by the purchaser at his or her expense not later than 5 business days following its sale. If not so paid for and removed, we may send the purchased property to a public warehouse for the account of, and at the risk and expense of the purchaser.

Taxes on your purchase: Unless exempt by law, the purchaser will be required to pay the Massachusetts sales tax or any applicable compensating use tax of another state on the total purchase price. The rate of sales tax in Massachusetts is 6.25%. Exemption numbers from other states are not accepted in Massachusetts. No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty or representation. However, if within 14 days of the sale of any lot, the purchaser gives notice in writing to us that the lot is counterfeit and within 10 days after such notice, the purchaser returns the lot to us in the same condition as when sold, and demonstrates to our satisfaction that the lot is a counterfeit, we will refund the purchase price.
