Description: ''A Sioux Chieftain'', nocturnal depicting a Sioux Indian chief on horseback, signed and dated lower left: F. Tenney Johnson, A.N.A. / 1934, signed and dated again and titled verso, oil on board, 16'' H x 12'' W, est: $30,000/50,000. Note: According to a letter of opinion written by Mrs. Lois Ash, the neice-in-law of the artist, dated February 9, 1996 ''the horse was his palimino, Tejon. It is a nice small painting of two subjects he loved - his horse and Indian Chiefs''.

Condition Report: Visual: Generally good condition. Blacklight: A .75'' x 1'' area of touch-up in the shadow of the horse. A few small spots of touch-up in the neck of the horse.

Notes: According to a letter of opinion written by Mrs. Lois Ash, the neice-in-law of the artist, dated February 9, 1996 ''the horse was his palimino, Tejon. It is a nice small painting of two subjects he loved - his horse and Indian Chiefs''
