Description: FULGENTIUS (of Ruspe). Opera, quæ scripsit omnia, magno labore conquisita. Quorum catalogum versa enumerabit pagina. Basel, (H. Petri, 1566). (72), 850 pp. Cont. cf. w. red label. (Rebacked in mod. cf., ties fail, corners/edges bumped/worn, a few small marg. holes/tear in first few lvs., else a fine & clean copy). Saint Fulgentius of Ruspe (467-532) was bishop of the city of Ruspe, North Africa, in the 5th and 6th century. His work shows a strong agreement with Augustine of Hippo. - Adams, F-1138.
