Condition / Notes: This antique volume, in brown cloth, with blind-stamped decoration to the covers and spine and gilt lettering to the spine, has a separating front board. The volume displays vertical cracking and a small horizontal crack to the spine cover, and bumping to the corners and spine extremities. A previous owner's signature is present to the front flyleaf, and scattered foxing can be found on the endpapers. A list of errata is present at the start of the text. Scattered small ink annotations appear in the text, noting printing errors. The work is illustrated with four tissue-guarded plates, one of which is the frontispiece.
