Description: The complete set of 12 aquatints and etchings printed in colors (nine hors-texte, three en-texte), lacking the separate signed and numbered suite, text by Saint-Jean Perse, signed in ink on the justification by the artist and author, this copy numbered 'II', from the edition of 30 in Roman Numerals (aside from the Arabic numbered edition of 100 plus 20 copies hors commerce), on Richard de Bas paper, printed by Crommelynck, Paris, published by Au Vent d'Arles, Paris, bound (as issued) (12 prints)
The full sheets, bound in black leather with inset of dark purple silk with paper bird collage on front, and cloth covered slip case with some wear. The prints are in good condition. Offprint. A few sheets with minor creases in the deckle. Some sheets with pale fox marks, mainly on text pages.
