Description: GERMAN PORCELAIN OWL HEAD FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, blue and tan ground with yellow dots, base marked on underside "Dietz Doyle & Co", period collar. Fitted with a period Hornet burner, colorless chimney. Dietz, Doyle & Co.

Condition Report: Excellent condition, broken bubble to edge of plumage below eye. Setup undamaged.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 3 3/4" to top of collar, 3" D base.

Exhibited: Smith - Oil Lamps II, p. 210, fig. 442.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
