(64), 215, (56) pp. Fine cont. cf. w. dec. gilt back & gilt coat of arms of Haarlem on both sides, surrounded by gilt dec. borders. (Label, ties & prize gone, corner free endpaper cut off, lower margin faintly stained in places). A history of omens and prodigies in the later Roman Republic, and the historical events accompanying them. Julius Obsequens was a 4th-c. historian who used Livy as a source. - Schweiger II, 619-20; Spoelder, 590 (Haarl. 3).
