Description: Hamburg - - Ehevertrag ("Ehepacta") zwischen dem Juristen Antonius Weitersheim (Wytersheim, auch Witensheim bzw. Wittersheim) und der Margarete Langemann. Deutsche Handschrift auf Pergament. Hamburg, 30. Mai 1572. Mit 4 (von 5 ?) Siegeln in Wachskapsel. Ca. 33 x52 cm.
Regelt die Zahlung von 1200 Reichstalern, die ratenweise von Wytersheim gezahlt werden sollten, wobei 300 Taler alleine noch "vor dem ehelichen Beylager" fällig seien. Der Bräutigam stamme "aus den Schaumburgischen Landen", die Braut aus Hamburg. Mit Unterschrift des Bräutigams, von J.P. Langemann (Vater der Braut), sowie der Zeugen Heinrich Wedekindt, Hermann Wetker (?) und Johann Niebur, das alles beglaubigt vom Doctor Laurentius Niebur. Der Jurist L. Niebur (Lorenz Neubauer), aus Hamburg stammend, ist ab 1567 in den Matrikeln der Uni Rostock verzeichnet. 1567 wurde er dort immatrikuliert, 1569 war er dort Lizenziat und ordentlicher Professor der Rechte, 1571 wurde er Konsistorialassessor, dann Rat des Herzogs Ulrich am Hofe in Güstrow. 1588 nahm er sich das Leben. Wittersheim, ebenfalls Rostocker Jurist, war u.a. Erster Sekretär der Stadt Hamburg. - Gefaltet, etwas fleckig, kaum verwischt, insgesamt gut.
