Latin America, Guatemala, ca. mid 20th century CE. A handmade Guatamalan doll depicting a mother and child, the mother donning a skirt, blouse, and shawl, all comprised of nicely woven textiles, as well as a wicker hat that holds various wares she is about to sell or has just purchased at the market. Both with lovely soft-sculpted faces embroidered with features. A sweet example with an endearing maternal theme. Size: 14.75" H (37.5 cm)
