This Harley was subject to an optical conversion to a Dirt Track Racer. All parts used are identical with those of the famous XR 750. Special focus was put on the chassis, which features the best racing parts from Paioli and Bitubo.
Naturally, all original parts are included, which means that the original state can be restored any time.
Introduced on the market in 1983, the XR 1000 is the street-legal version of the successful racing bike XR 750. Only around a dozen units of the model, production was limited to 1100 motorbikes, came to Germany. The heart of the XR 1000 is a fascinating engine. Constructing engineer and race director Dick O’Brien advanced the XR by adding new cylinders and new cylinder heads - creating a motorcycle that dominates the American flat-track scene up until today.
