Description: Harriet Glen (contemporary) NORTHERN DANCER signed, numbered 29/100, bronze, set in a wooden base, 20 by 27cm. Northern Dancer was a Canadian-bred thoroughbred who won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes in 1964. But his fame is as one of the most influential stallions of the 20th century. This was first apparent when his son Nijinsky won the 1970 Triple Crown. He got two other Derby winners The Minstrel and Secreto, as well as many other famous champions.
