Description: HILTON, JAMES. Lost Horizon. 8vo, publisher's black cloth, spine gilt-titled, slight lean, light ring stain to rear cover, few inconspicuous smudges; dust jacket, moderate dustsoiling, folds rubbed, several small edge nicks, 1-inch top corner of rear flap torn with loss of 3 letters; endpapers toned, else contents clean. New York: William Morrow, 1933

Notes: first american edition. Scarce. Made into the classic film of the same name by Frank Capra in 1937. The 1973 muscial remake however is for masochists only.
