Suspended sideboard in simple futurist design.
The sideboard is in good condition. The edges of socle and cover board have small bumps and losses in places. The sideboard has a total length of 208 cm and is 45 high and deep.
Horst Brüning (b. 1934)
Horst Brüning studied architecture and interior architecture at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg until 1956. After stays in Copenhagen and Stockholm, were he studied industrial design, the native of Hamburg had a design and architecture office in Stuttgart from 1963 on. Next to the development of table, armchair and chair programs for considerable manufacturers, in the mid-1960s the design work for the Series 6910 at KILL International in Fellbach/Stuttgart began. In this period, Horst Brüning was also in contact with both the Danish architects Jørgen Kastholm und Preben Fabricius, which gained them international recognition in the end. (tm)
