Description: Hu XiGui (1839-1883), Qing Dynasty Chinese landscape painting of ink and color on paper mounted on silk. Depicting an elderly sage playing a musical instrument with group of attendant in various pursuits within dense of shading pine trees and foliate against a waterside and misty mountainous landscape. Showing themed calligraphy inscriptions, signed by Hu XiGui, followed by two artist's iron-red signature seals on upper left. Mounted on creme silk border.
