Description: cum Imaginibus ad vivam Effigiem expressus. Libellus auctus cum elencho & Iconibus Consulum, 2 vol., titles in woodcut borders, woodcut white-on-black portraits in roundels, attributed to Hans Weiditz, initials, head and border-pieces, holes to B1, C2, H4 & M3, with loss to text or woodcuts, second title with small hole and margin torn and restored, marginal tear to aa3, some staining and marking, few early notes, second title ownership notes mostly erased, eighteenth century calf, gilt, rubbed, second vol backstrip partly loose, [Adams H1247], 4to, Strassburg, W. Caephalaeus , 1534, 1537. First published in 1525, thus is the first edition with the second part, on the Roman consuls.
