Description: 20 March 1907 LONDON. 5% Bond for £200 Sterling. Serie 24. orange-brown, black. No 8666. Folds. Very large format, printed by Waterlow & Sons in London. Large vignette of Neptune and horses. Text in English and French. This bond issue was marketed internationally, by Parr's Bank Ltd, HSBC, the Yokohama Specie Bank and N.M. Rothschild & Sons. Both £20 and £200 bonds were issued, the top denomination being the one we offer today. The loan, £23 million, is reported to have been fully repaid. Hence, this is a very rare certificate indeed and only once before offered by us. Rarity 11.
