RARE, IMPORTANT, QING DYNASTY, SET OF 9 PCS BRONZE CHINESE INCENSE BURNER IN ORIGINAL WOODEN BOX
Comprised of 9 (nine) pieces. Finely bronzed vessels of various Chinese Incense Burners. Consisting of: 2 incense burners; one triangle shaped and the other pentagon shaped both decorated with embossed Chinese calligraphy and incised Chinese characters. Six bronze censers. (1) Step pyramid shaped with four elegant shaped legs, with inner tray and two mixing spoons. (2) Cubical shaped, the square dome incised with Chinese characters raised on four short legs with two trays and two serving spoons. (3) This tiny censer having tapered cylindrical shape and twin handles. (4) Traditional sun shape censer with two cylindrical ears flanked on the neck. (5) Bronze tripod censer, cylindrical shaped with open design cover. (6) Bronze tripod censer, flared cylindrical shaped with a foo dog on top displayed on bronze base
The 9 bronze instruments shows master craftsmanship, finely cast and pierced, with a smooth surface and patina.
Exquisitely presented inside a perfectly fitted lidded hardwood box, with tan and white silk covering the inner cushion.
