Description: Important Chinese/Tibetan Silk Dragon Robe (Chuba), 18th Century. Imperial Yellow Silk Brocade Dragon Robe, Qing D. Silk on silk embroidery. This robe features eight 5-claw dragons, three on the front, three on the back, one on each shoulder. Blue silk interior lining. Excellent condition. Provenance: private Princeton, NJ collection; Sotheby's, lot 135, Chinese Works of Art, Dec. 1992. Size: 57'' x 92'' (145 x 234 cm).
