Description: Aquatint printed in colors, 1922, signed in pencil by Villon, also signed by Matisse, annotated 'Bon à tirer...', and with extensive printing notations in the margins, a proof aside from the numbered edition of 200, on heavy Arches wove paper, published by Bernheim-Jeune, Paris, framed
The print is in generally good condition, with full margins. Slight soiling and discoloration in the margins. Pale water stain and a three repaired tears (approximately 0.5 to 1 inch in length, two in the lower margin and one at top margin. edge. The verso with masking tape hinge stains in the edges and corners (slightly showing through).
