Description: JAPAN, 19TH CENTURY A Japanese Meiji period lacquer mirror make-up cabinet. The cabinet is decorated with a intricately detailed falcon in raised lacquer perched on a tree. The sides are decorated in raised village scenes. When opened a polished steel looking glass cants backwards and rests on the base. The cabinet doors open to reveal two long and short drawers on a simple scrolled base with silvered brass mounts.
Condition Report: Very minor losses to lacquer, overall very good condition
Dimensions: 12" deep by 8 1/2" wide by 9 1/2" tall.
